Unfortunate name, unforgettable gardenia aroma.
The legend goes that the farmer named this cultivar 'duck shit' to keep neighbors from stealing cuttings. The tea itself is the opposite of the name: an explosively aromatic Phoenix-mountain oolong of gardenia, ripe peach and almond, with a long honeyed return.
